Wiltshire Dave started his tree business in 1990, primarily as a means to living and working in the rural Kennet Valley in Wiltshire, where he has spent nearly his entire life. He is currently doing less ‘on site’ work to concentrate on writing and utilizing the timber he fells for woodworking projects, leaving his son Dougal and wife Winnie to run the business proper. His hobbies are collie dogs, shooting and sea fishing.
