In this series of articles, we will be sharing exclusive coverage from all aspects of the ARB Show 2023.
TP sparked plenty of interest with a demonstration of its new electric woodchipper, the TP175 E-ZE.
This fully battery-powered, 25 hp, electric chipper has a 175 mm capacity, rechargeable lithium batteries and, at just under 750 kg, is road towable with a galvanised chassis.
And, as was demonstrated at the show, it has power to rival any petrol or diesel chipper of the same size.
Sales coordinator Axel Block said: “In the beginning we saw it being sold to local authorities, which it is, but it is mainly going to contractors who work for the local authorities.
"It is a true zero-emission machine. Customers can choose to have three, four or five batteries, for between three and five hours’ runtime.
“Going forward, we will continue to produce petrol machines for as long as necessary, but battery power is our focus now.”
