Avant Tecno (UK) marketing manager, Henna Kari, explained that the Finnish manufacturer had now supplied over 6,000 of its compact machines to customers in the UK and Ireland.
The wide range of attachments available makes the offering truly multi-functional and available to transfer throughout the land-based and industrial sectors.
For use in forestry and arboricultural work, a hydraulic winch can be fitted as well as a range of log grabs and timber grapples.
A tree shear, log splitters, two wood-chipper models and a firewood processor can also be operated by most of the tool carrier range. A forest mulcher is available for Avant base machines fitted with enclosed cabs.
Of interest to those who work at height, Henna pointed out that the company’s parent group now produces mobile elevated work platforms of the Leguan marque at its Avant production facility in Finland. They proved to be a popular choice with some high profile British arboricultural contractors.
To cope with increasing demands arriving through its range of dealers in the UK and Ireland, Avant Tecno (UK) is transferring its operations from Norfolk to a new facility across the Suffolk border at Bury St Edmunds.
