GERMAN machine manufacturer Pfanzelt has unveiled the next generation of its tracked and remote-controlled Moritz with the Fr70 and Fr75.

While visually the new models have stayed true to the original concept of the Fr50, the company says they are in a league of their own in terms of technology, with major improvements beneath the surface.

The Mortiz Fr70 and Fr75 both feature a four-cylinder Deutz engine generating 36.4 or 55.4 kW with a Cleanfix reversible cooler fan as standard.

They boast generous ground clearance of 320 mm and optimum climbing performance with 50° slope angle at front and 40° at the rear.

Their proportional drive features two speed stages and a top speed of 6.0 km/h (final speed can be gradually pre-selected).

Forestry Journal:

The mini tractors feature a drift setting to compensate for the downgrade force when mowing across a slope, and a low ground pressure of only 0.30 kg/cm².

Until now it was only possible to use accessories through the mechanical power transmission. The new-generation Moritz offers both mechanical and hydraulic transmission, meaning that tools from other brands could also be used. The hydraulic piston pump gives up to 96 litres per minute at 300 bars pressure.

Forestry Journal:

The hydraulics system consists of three separate systems for drive mode, onboard and performance hydraulics.
