ADVANCEMENTS have led to the compact Bandit SG-40 stump grinder taking over from the already successful ZT1844 model.

The SG-40 is described as a highly productive grinder that packs power plus portability, aggressively tracking down and sweeping away stumps with the ease.

A newly designed spindle and hub assembly promotes a long-lasting lifetime of oscillating motion and a new swing geometry extends the cutter-wheel grinding width to 47 inches. With that type of coverage area, you’re sure to spend more time grinding at the stump rather than repositioning, says UK sole distributor Global Recycling.

Features include an improved centre of gravity, sealed slew bearing, a new track-tensioning system, three-position swing-out operator console, and 18-inch diameter cutter wheel.
