FORESTRY and arb wholesaler Workware has announced its newest partnership with French arborist clothing brand Solidur.

Solidur has over 70 years of heritage as a footwear and clothing manufacturer and specialises in PPE equipment for arborists worldwide.

Philip Sharman, head of supply chain at Workware, said: “We are always looking for point of difference and quality when considering new brands. The Solidur collection offers an extensive range of apparel which sits perfectly within our portfolio. We have been impressed with the quality, innovation and depth of the range - it’s a natural fit for us.”

Workware intends to go to market with Solidur at the end of May, with delivery in late summer in preparation for the season.

Because of the current COVID-19 situation Workware has created a full brand presentation including sample sets which it intends to send to its key accounts over the coming weeks and will support with online presentations to customers as required.

Once restrictions on travel are lifted Workware said it intends to place a strong focus on supporting all its retailers, specifically on brand education/training, backed with a target marketing plan.

Workware is a specialist distributor and brand owner selling to retailers in UK, ROI and Europe. Operating from its base in Carlisle, its portfolio includes brands such as Simarghu Harness, Hendon Ladders, Haix Forestry Footwear and Climbing Technology.
