PERENNIAL, the charity for people working in, or retired from, the horticulture industry, is calling on Britain’s gardeners to enter the HortAid2021 gardening competition.

The HortAid2021 gardening competition will be judged by Jim Buttress (chair of judges), Carole Baxter, James Alexander-Sinclair and Sarah Greene.

The deadline for entry is 31st July 2021 and the best in show will win £1,000 in garden gift vouchers and the chance to meet one of the competition judges.

There are also separate category prizes provided by sponsor Hozelock, as detailed below, along with £30 garden gift vouchers and a signed certificate for each category winner:

  • Large garden – wins a Hozelock Tuffhoze 25m
  • Small garden – wins a Hozelock Micro Reel
  • Containers/pots/window baskets/hanging baskets – wins a Hozelock Micro Reel
  • Children’s garden – wins a Hozelock Micro Reel
  • Community garden – wins a Hozelock Growbag Waterer

The competition categories cover a wide range of gardening interests, meaning anyone can enter. These include small garden, large garden, community garden, children’s garden and containers/pots/window baskets/hanging baskets.
