THE APF show has passed a significant exhibitor milestone ahead of September's forestry event.

Serra Sawmills has confirmed it will attend the UK's largest timber and trees showcase for the first time, becoming the 200th exhibitor to sign up for 2024's edition in the process.

Taking place at the Ragley Estate in Warwickshire, the show will see some of the biggest names in forestry join the sawmill manufacturer across three days, with thousands of visitors expected to attend.

Exhibition secretary Ian Millward said: “We are delighted to welcome Serra Sawmills to the APF show for the first time.

"The 3,800 m of demonstration frontage is now 85 per cent booked and more bookings are coming in every day.

"The show’s reputation for being the place to demonstrate your products and equipment and sell them into the forestry, woodland, arboriculture is a major attraction to exhibitors given they will have a targeted audience of 23, 000 visitors.

"We are well on course to match the 300 exhibitors we had at APF 2022.”

In addition to hundreds of exhibitors and £80 million of machinery on display, visitors will be able to see a "bigger than ever range" of events and competitions including the Husqvarna World 25m pole climbing championships, the A W Jenkinson and Tilhill European chainsaw carving championships, the British fencing championships, APF Tree climbing challenge, and the UK forwarder driving championships.

The APF UK Lumberjack Championships, traditional woodland crafts and horse logging demonstrations will also take place.

As the APF's official media partner, Forestry Journal will be in attendance at the event, both as an exhibitor and to bring you the best of the action across our channels.

APF 2024 takes place from September 19 to 21.
