A FORESTRY dealer has appealed for information after crooks stole a pick-up truck.
Fuelwood says the Toyota Hilux was nabbed at some point between Sunday night and Monday morning from an address in the CV5 postcode area of Coventry.
While details remain light on the incident, the Warwickshire-based firm has launched an appeal to recover the vehicle.
A Fuelwood statement read: "One of our Fuelwood trucks was stolen last night from the Coventry/Warwick area.
"The registration plate is YS70 LHE. We would highly appreciate any information if anyone sees or hears anything regarding this matter!
"Please call 01926 484673 or send us a message if you have any information at all!"
Machinery and equipment theft is nothing new in tree care. Back in February, essentialARB reported how an arborist's Toyota Hilux was also stolen during the night. That vehicle was found just a few hours later, having been stripped for parts.
Forestry Journal has contacted West Midlands Police for more information.
