ONE of the UK’s leading forestry trainers has joined Jas P Wilson.
Bob Forsyth becomes the dealer’s new operator training specialist, where he will educate its existing staff on how to use a wide range of machinery. In the newly-established position, he will also participate in machinery demonstrations across the country.
A statement from Jas P Wilson read: “Many of you may know Bob from his forestry days, where he spent many years as a machine operator driving a range of forestry machines for contractors and the Forestry Commission in Wales and south-west Scotland, and then as an operational trainer for the FC.
“More recently, Bob has been running his own company, Forsyth Forestry Training, providing a wide range of training and assessment courses across the UK in the forestry and ground-management sector.
“Welcome to the team, Bob! Exciting times ahead!”
The move brings to an end Bob’s eight-year stint at Forsyth Forestry Training.
Bob added: “I have had eight enjoyable years with Forsyth Forestry Training, having met and worked with a lot of great people.
“After a quick calculation, I worked out that I have covered over 400,000 miles in those eight years which, scarily, is 16 times around the world!
“I would like to thank everyone that I have worked with, trained or assessed over this time.”
