THERE is still time to enter the UK Forwarder Driving Championships - but you better be quick.

Returning to APF for the first time in a number of years, the contest will see the country's leading operators go head-to-head to determine who is the best behind the controls of a John Deere 1110G.

Sponsored by Richard Court Engineering and Coombes Forestry, the event will take place on a large 90m x 60m arena across all three days of the forestry exhibition.

A statement from Richard Court read: "Coombes Forestry are kindly supplying a John Deere 1110G forwarder for the competition and we are extremely grateful for their support in helping us to bring back this amazing event to this year's APF 2024.

"We have got an amazing and challenging course planned which will be testing the operators skill, judgement and of course it will be against the clock.

"The competition will be conducted over a morning and afternoon session on each day.

"The prizes are kindly being provided by John Deere Forestry and will be given for daily and overall winners. The full competition rules will be issued to the entrants on the day."
