MANUFACTURER Hakki Pilke has introduced a streamlined version of one of its most popular machines.
The 43 boasts many of the same qualities as the larger 43 Pro, but is aimed at those starting out in the industry.
With 15 tonnes of splitting force, the 43 can handle logs up to 43 cm in diameter, splitting them into up to 12 pieces, or even 16 with softwood.
Hakki Pilke’s export manager, Jari Niskakoski, said: “The Hakki Pilke 43 is an excellent and affordable choice for customers who need to process large logs but have a more moderate annual production volume."
The HakkiSplit system, adapted from the 43 Pro, ensures fast and consistent splitting, automatically adjusting force as needed. The hydraulic log clamp and joystick-controlled HakkiCut system make cutting safe and efficient, allowing the entire cutting process to be managed with a single button press.
Equipped with a cleaning outfeed conveyor, the machine automatically separates debris from firewood during processing, significantly reducing the need for additional cleaning equipment. The 43 also includes a control valve for accessories, making it easy to integrate additional equipment like HakkiFeed log tables.
Designed for easy maintenance, the 43 requires minimal upkeep. Thanks to its hydraulic functions, the machine operates without V-belts, ensuring reliable performance and reducing the need for frequent maintenance
Jari added: "The machine’s outstanding HakkiSplit splitting system and half-stroke function allow it to handle both large and small logs efficiently, splitting wood into two up to 16 pieces in a single stroke.
"There are no mechanical wear parts in the splitting or cutting systems, making it a low-maintenance and safe option."
