ONE of the UK’s leading equipment retailers has revealed a major rebranding as part of its enhanced focus on forestry and outdoor channels.
Carr’s Billington Safety has become Billington Outdoor as well as the exclusive British dealer for Zamberlan’s forestry, safety, and now outdoor footwear ranges, effective from December 1.
This rebrand marks a fresh chapter for the distributor, which has also expanded its sales team.
Andy Clough from Snow Peak Agencies has joined to manage forestry and outdoor accounts across northern England and Scotland. Andy will be reaching out to these accounts in the coming weeks, with support from James Bradshaw to ensure a smooth transition. Additionally, Billington Outdoor welcomed Callum Pattinson to the team; he will handle administrative processes and lead internal sales.
Neil Thomas, commercial manager of Billington Outdoor, said: “With this new direction, the name Carr’s Billington Safety no longer felt appropriate, while Billington Outdoor aligns with our evolving focus.
“As part of the Billington Group, the rebrand represents a natural alignment with our broadened vision.

“Although we’re expanding into outdoor markets, we are fully committed to maintaining distinct channels. This strengthened partnership with Zamberlan opens an exciting opportunity for growth, allowing us to serve both markets with renewed focus and dedication.
“We are pleased to announce that a selection of innovative new products will be arriving in our forestry category early next year from our key partners including Teufelberger, Mont-Bell, and Corona. We look forward to presenting these products to our forestry and arboriculture customers early next year.”
