PLANNING FORESTER, CENTRAL SCOTLAND

Applications for the post of Planning Forester, from suitably qualified individuals, are invited.

The successful candidate will join a small planning team of three with responsibility for the preparation of forest plans, felling permission applications, woodland creation proposals and grant applications.

This is a highly demanding post and candidates will require a high degree of self-motivation and a commercial outlook. The candidates will need to have an understanding of UKFS and UKWAS requirements, forestry legislation, IT literacy and GIS skills.

While the successful candidate will operate initially from Perth, Scotland, the responsibilities will cover a large geographical area and there may be a requirement change location in future.

Both recently qualified and more experienced candidates are welcome to apply.

Candidates must hold a current driving licence and be qualified to diploma or degree level.
