SENIOR FOREST MANAGER

Based: Midlands (M40 Corridor)

Tilhill, the UK’s leading forestry management company, has an exciting opportunity for you to be a key member of our forestry team based in the Midlands in the role of Senior Forest Manager.

In this role you will be responsible for delivering a professional high-quality woodland management service whilst helping to develop our forest management portfolio together with other on-going forestry related opportunities. The role also includes building sound client relationships and, day to day, the preparation of client estimates, production of reports, implementation and control of work programmes and grant applications.

Ideally, we are looking for the following skills and experience:

• Relevant academic qualifications.
• Strong commercial acumen and at least 3 years’ operational experience.
• Strong client relationship management skills.
• Good knowledge of the UK Forestry Standard and UKWAS.
• Professional membership of the Institute of Chartered Foresters or another relevant professional body is desirable.
